Privacy Policy

Bottaby is a product of M-Flat, Inc., a Delaware Corporation, doing business as Automated Industries and as Bottaby (collectively, “Bottaby,” “we,” or “us”). Reach us at contact@automatedindustries.ai with any privacy-related question or request.

• Account info. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email, and a profile picture URL. You can edit or remove your name and email aliases at any time on the Traveler Profile page.
• Travel data you give us. Trips, flights, stays, activities, calendar events, attached images, voice notes, free-form preferences, and any messages you exchange with the assistant.
• Travel documents you choose to store. Optional fields including passport number, passport expiration, driver’s license number, billing address, and mobile number. These fields are populated only by you, only when you provide them.
• Forwarded emails. When you forward a reservation to travel@bottaby.com we store the message contents to extract travel information.
• Operational data. Server logs, request IDs, error reports, and basic device information needed to operate and secure the service.

• To provide the Bottaby service to you.
• To extract travel information from emails, images, and chat input, and to render that information in your calendar.
• To mirror your trips into your Google Calendar when you connect it.
• To answer your travel questions through the assistant.
• To communicate with you about service notices, security, and product updates.
• To enforce our Terms and to comply with the law.

We do not sell your data. We share the minimum information necessary with the following categories of service providers, each acting under contract:

• Hosting + storage: Vercel (web hosting), Supabase (database, authentication, file storage).
• AI providers: Anthropic (live chat), Google (email + image parsing, Maps Places lookup), OpenAI (voice transcription).
• Email + calendar: Resend (inbound email routing), Google (Calendar sync at your option).
• Travel data: FlightAware (flight status), Duffel (flight schedule search), Transitland (public transit), Graphhopper (multimodal routing), Amtraker (US passenger rail).

We may also disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or acquisition (with continued protection of your data).

We keep your account and travel data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing contact@automatedindustries.ai; we will delete your account and associated data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Aggregated, fully de-identified analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@automatedindustries.ai.

We use first-party cookies for authentication. We do not use advertising cookies or sell session information to third parties.

Bottaby is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Bottaby is operated from the United States. By using the service you understand that your information is processed in the U.S. and may be transferred internationally to the service providers listed above.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged in the app or by email. The “Effective” date at the top reflects the latest revision.
